Does Ohana serve pineapple with dinner? I have never been there and have always wanted to. There was a Brazilian restaurant here at home that brought the food around on big skewers like I've read Ohana does. At the end of the meal, they served grilled pineapple on a big skewer. It was soooooo good. I was hoping maybe Ohana did something similar??? Thanks for any info!

The pineapple with caramel sauce that used to be served as a dessert was replaced a few years back with a wonderful bananas foster bread pudding. OMG! That stuff is so decadent but even our kids loved it. Sorry, no more pineapple.

I agree!!! The banana foster bread pudding is to die for!!!!:cloud9:
We have a Brazilian place over here called Fogo de Chao... and between the grilled pineapple here and the banana foster bread pudding... the latter wins, hands down! You will love it!

Ohana's used to serve pineapple and caramel sauce now they serve the bread pudding which I have not tasted yet (will do in November) and I have heard great reviews about it. I am excited to be tasting the new menu.

It is true that the pineapple was replaced with bread pudding, but I have heard stories of tables requesting the pineapple with carmel sauce and getting it. It wouldn't hurt to ask your waiter/waitress.

I was someone who was very disapointed to discover on my last trip that they had gotten rid of the pineapple with caramel. I mentioned how dissappointed I was to our waiter--- and low and behold, he brought one out for us! I love that stuff!

I don't know if they are still doing that, but we were one of the lucky ones to get some. Now if only they would bring back the sweet potatoe bread and salmon... :upsidedow

I don't remember the sweet potato bread but long for the days of lo mein (before rice, which has since been replaced with the yummy scallopped potatoes) and PINEAPPLE BREAD (still available on the breakfast with Lilo and Stitch)

I loved that lo mein!

I think the bread was sweet potatoe and pineapple- it was a light orange color- is that the one they have at the stitch brekfast? if so, I would check it out just for that bread! I miss it so!!!!!!!!!!!

If you've had a real Brazilian bbq experience, stay far away from Ohana, or you will be bitterly disappointed. The food is low quality.

I have to agree- it used to be very good years ago, but it has gone downhill and a real brazilian bbq is much much better. :(
