Okay, so I have seen in several threads people mention the Grey Goose Slushies at EPCOT's France Pavillion. Are they really that good? Do they come in flavors? Where exactly do you get them?
:drinking1

I really like them - I think you have to be a fan of frozen drinks though.

The Grey Goose slushie is a lemon vodka based drink, they do have another drink which is orange but I can't remember the name

You can get them in France on the lake side of the path opposite the Chefs de France restaurant.

Ummm YEAH they are yummy. The other I think is Grand Marnier (sp) and its orange flavored and yummy too. I know I was so sad that it was like 40 degrees and all I was wearing was a hoodie when I got one because if it had been warmer and me dressed warmer I would have had more then one. But so not something to drink when you are already freezing your hiney off.

Yes, yes and yes...they are really that good. I can't hardy walk by the kiosk without stopping for one or two!!!!

both the slushies at the France drink cart are tasty, but we thought they were a little "lite" on the alcoholic content. Didn't really get much of a buzz from them, though refreshing on a hot day.

Better drink was the sultan's colada from the Morocco drink cart (like a pina colada but added almond liqueur.) And my new all-time favorite frozen drink around the WS is the Peach Tea slushy at the China tea cart...now THAT is a frozen adult beverage. Definite kick, and fab taste.

Winner of worst drink is the Fiesta margarita from Mexico cart...talk about odd taste combinations...and weak....and just YUCK. Even worse was when they were out of two flavors so we had a mango margarita (horrible taste) and a green apple (just sour, no apple taste)
I know the Fiesta fans will take me to task on that one, but we've tried it two years in a row, and gets worse every time.

Also try the Italian Margrita made with Lemoncillo. My wife really liked it too. Her favorite was the Grand Marnier slushie in France though. I thought it was pretty good to but stuck mostly to the beers around the world.

I love the Grey Goose Slushie, but like Ctne said they are very lite. I'm wondering just how much alcholol they put in. But it is a very tasty refershing drink. Just don't expect a buzz, you would get more of a buzz drinking a beer.

Thanks for the advice on the Peach Tea Slushy, I have to try it.

yes!! They are really good! so are the Grand Marnier Slushies..(the orange one)
Last year, FH & I had some time to kill before dinner at Marrakesh in Morocco in Epcot, (FANTASTIC dinner, BTW), and so we had a drink first.

He had the Grey Goose, I had the Grand Marnier...
We were pretty buzzed!! :rotfl2:

Good stuff!!
Enjoy~ :thumbsup2

ITA - Also try the mixed drinks at the Rose & Crown if you like a little more alcohol in your drinks. Although I don't think any of the drinks at the theme parks are very strong....

Okay...yummmm

Both the Grey Goose and the Grand marnier are on the list for the next trip. The Lemoncello margarita sounds interesting too!

Keep coming with the drink suggestions for EPCOT! Love the idea of sampling beverages on our way around the World.

2 words - yes.

The Grand Marnier Slush is also ok, but not as good as the Grey Goose Slush.

Yes, they are that good! I introduced my father-in-law to them on our last trip, and from the time we left Epcot that day, all I heard was "When are we going back to Epcot?". I am not a fan of the Peach Tea slushy in China. I thought it tasted nasty- I wound up taking a few sips and throwing it out- which kind of hurts when you spend that much on a drink. My DH tasted it and he didn't want it either. I'm definitely going to seek out that Sultan's colada on the next trip! That Italian Margarita sounds good too.

The Italian Margarita is good too, also there an apple frozen drink I found in my hand from Germany :scared1: :lmao: DH got me it and it just kind of appeared :rotfl:
I hadn't yet finished my Italian drink :drinking1 :drinking: I had one in each hand :goodvibes

I enjoyed the Grey Goose but I much prefer the Grand Marnier Slush which is a sweet drink. But then, I like sweet drinks.

To quote Uncle Scar - "You have no idea!"

Love the slushes, and can't wait to try the drinks mentioned in China and Morocco. Thanks for the tips.

I'm not a big lemon fan so I always get the Grand Marnier Orange slushie. Either way, I see lots of happy people around that area with the cute little cups:goodvibes
