Hello, everyone. Sprung for high speed access from the room today so thought I'd post a little trip report. Arrived Wednesday morning, absolutely no problems with the travelling. The weather's been cool (but steadily warming since Wednesday) and no rain. It's supposed to get cold Monday - we shall see. We're working on a contingency plan now, just in case.

The highlights:

- Segway tour at Epcot. If you get a chance to do this, DO IT!! Even my DW, who wasn't sure she'd enjoy it, thought it was a hoot.

- MVMCP. Well worth the money for the extra time in the park. Loads of entertainment and waits no more than 10 minutes for any attraction.

- Who Wants to be a Milllionaire Play it! - I was actually #1 after the first five questions (I got the next one wrong - serves me right for not knowing my John Steinbeck novels!) and was that close to getting in the hot seat. On the next game at the end I was number 3 on the list. I finally got the hang of how to play this game!!

The lowlights:

- Muppetvision 3D is getting very tired.

- Ride breakdowns - we've been on Winnie the Pooh, Universe of Energy, and Test Track when they've all suffered some sort of breakdown (only TT was able to complete). And our trip is only half over.

We're off to MK tonight. I'll post again later in the week.

Hey Mike,

First, yes it is snowing here. Please bring back some warm weather with you. Don't you just love Beach Club?? I too, was number one after the first five questions, but then I missed one and that took me off of the board. It looks like Monday will be quite cool there. It would be a great day to do a park because none of the locals will be there. I think the cost of the high speed is worth it if you surf for an hour or so. I still think that it should be free for members.

Have an awesome rest of your vacation and a safe travel home.

Merry Christmas!!

Hi Mike- Hope it warms up for you. I am really hoping we get to stay at the Beach club in march. Keeping my fingers crossed for perfect running rides from here on out.

We just got back on Wednesday from playing 4 High school teams in London. Won our first 3 games and then one team from London was awesome and blew us away. Is your daughter in High school?

Sherry,

No, she's in Grade 8 this year but will be at Oakridge next year. Which school blew you away? We probably know a number of the girls on the team.

They're forecasting highs in the mid-60s tomorrow, but the low Monday night is going to 36 and then climbing to 60. The rest of the week looks reasonably good (low-70s) but we may need to pickup some warmer clothes for Monday. Wouldn't be the first time...

I can't remember. I know we beat Clarke Rd?. This team we played last are rated a 4 level because of the number of students they have to draw from. We are a 2. All I know is that the majority were rep players and they rocked. Apparently they won Offsa last year or the year before.

It's great to hear from you, Mike!! :)

Friends of mine did the Segway tour when we were in WDW earlier this month, and they loved it!! :) I'm glad you and your DW enjoyed it, and next time, I'm going to try it too!

Low to mid 70's would be nice, it's 16 here!! Brrr....... :)
