First a big thank you to everyone for the kind words last week after my Mom passed away. It's been a hard week prior to the trip. I even picked up the phone and called her number only to realize what I did when I heard her voice. 3 days before she died she told me to make sure I take lots of pictures because she wants to see them....so with every picture I take I think of my mom and know she is seeing me from above and enjoying my pictures as I take them.
We arrived today for the start to our long vacation. One week at DLP, staying at Marriott near the park.Then off to Dover and the Baltic cruise.
Got a great recommendation from the DLP board for a driver from the airport. Flights were fine and basically on time. Very long from California and 40 min delay in Paris leaving terminal. Someone left a bag unattended so they shut everything down. Driver was there waiting for us and off we went to the Marriott Villas near the park. It is a timeshare and you can book with points like we did or if lucky you can trade through interval.
Marriott is beautiful!. Our villa is 2 bedroom, 3 bath, full kitchen and washer and dryer. Golf course view. Each villa is different in the front. I really expect Belle to come out of one....it is unbelievable....2 pools, one in, one out...very warm here today. Sunset was at about 945pm!
Don't worry Kevin, I will look for something for you!
I told you that you could join us.....
If anybody has any suggestions for sightseeing around her let me know...we will be renting a car....
