Trying to decide if it is toned down enough for us, so....Do you get ill on this gentler version of the ride?

I didn't have high hopes for the Green version, having done the Orange (before it was 'Orange'), but I was definitely surprised at how close to the original version it is. BUT....without the possible after-effects.

The ride vehicle still moves, but only back and forth. There is no spin to it, so you don't get the nausea you might get from the physical reality of your body spinning while your brain is told you're just moving up or down.

In short, Green is like a mild version of a simulator. If you can do Star Tours you'll be absolutely fine. Star Tours gives me far more after-sensation, in fact. M:S Green left me with no fuzzy brain feeling at all. But if simulators bother you, this one may, too.

Totally agree with you.

I voted no because you don't get sick but I don't like the wording it was SAFE to go on the way it was, but this does help for those with motion sickness.

I liked the Orange version just fine but because I've been on it a few times and I'm not getting any younger I did feel a bit off last time I rode it.I was bored a bit and started to look around at the other people and I think thats what did it.

So this past June I talked DD into the green side and it was just great . Your still closed in a good bit but other then that no real motion problems at all.

If you can take star tours, you can do green MS. They felt the same to me. I would NEVER do orange! Goofys barnstomer makes me feel sick. :rotfl2:

I did the original (now orange) a few times the year it opened. Did not feel 'quite right' after, so skipped the past several times there. When ther in may, I did the green, found it great, almost as good a ride as the original, but without the after affect feel. :thumbsup2

It was fine for us ... no after-effects. We DID get nervous when we entered the vehicle, tho, upon seeing barf bags in there just in case, I guess!

I did the original and got sick. The green is fun. I can't wait to ride it next time we go.

If you have "motion sickness" then you don't belong on rides anyway you just need to stick to shows. ;)

I'm gonna try it, even though Star Tours allllllmooost got me.
Gonna have the bag ready :p
