We have been doing Universal and IOA for about the last year. We have a 3 year old who LOVES Dr. Suess, and has always wanted to try green eggs and ham. Every time we go though the restaurant is closed. Is there any way to find out if it is open during the peak times. We are planning on arriving July 11th.

It would appear that Green Eggs and Ham has gone the way of the dinosaur. No signs of life there for at least the past 5 years...which is a shame because it was a great idea and the "house specialty" was actually pretty good.

I always go off season and thought it might be open when it gets busier, so I have never seen it open.

the last three years i have not seen it open when i went in october.

prior to that, when it was open, i kept saying i wanted to eat there.

my one regret is i never took the time to eat at Green Eggs and Ham and truly am sorry about that.

In all our years there, we only ate Green Eggs and Ham once. I think the problem is, it is basically a breakfast item and people only want it for breakfast, which is the first hour that the park is open.

It was yummy but really was just an over priced Egg McMuffin.

You can make your own green eggs easily! They look disgusting but taste the same as normal.

Boil up some red/purple cabbage - pour some of the water left over in the frying pan (skillet - or whatever it is over there..)and fry your egg - looks best sunny side up - yolk stays yellow and the white turns green... It amazes the kids... Use the rest of the water to turn from bluey purple to barbie pink by adding lemon juice !!

Science in the kitchen.... my kids love it...
