How do you all like Green Day? I think that old school Green Day is better than their new stuff. And i also think they're overexposed and it's gets annoying to see them EVERYWHERE. but their concert i went to was good

Love Green Day - I love their old and new stuff.

To me, nothing will be better than "When I Come Around." However, American Idiot and Holiday are great tunes. The melody on BOBD is great too. They get tremendous airtime because there's not much competition out their right now. That's not to say that the music out there is bad, it's just not as raw.

Foo Fighters, Killers, Kaiser Chiefs have a raw sound. The Clash (whom I think Green Day's image derives from) is the best at being raw. Like the Sex Pistols - pure raw engery.

That was the same thing in the early 90's. Nirvana was it, and then came Green Day with their very raw, self-comical and primitive sound. They make fun of themselves and others. Any one that make fun of themselves is cool.

That's my 5 on Green Day.

Green Day are awful. They sold out and they're so overrated and most people who like them, now are posers who only liked them when American Idiot came out....
No offence to people who have liked them for ages...
While we're on the subject, My Chemical Romance suck as well... in the nicest possible way
