Green cornflake Christmas Cookies?

Someone from DH's work brought in cookies made from corn flakes dyed green and shaped like a christmas tree, with little red cinnamon dots for "decorations". I think I've seen these before (only shaped like wreaths) but they were never a part of my moms Christmas Cookie line-up. In short, I don't know what they are called or how to make them, but DH has requested I bake some for him (fair enough, he's re-doing the ugly upstairs bathroom AND has shoveled all the snow so far this year).

Doesn anyone know what I'm talking about and if so, do you know how to make these things?

Corn Flake Holiday Wreaths

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1/3 cup margarine
10 ounces marshmallows
1 teaspoon green food coloring
6 cups corn flakes
Red cinnamon candies

In a large saucepan, melt margarine over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in food coloring. Add corn flakes. Stir until well coated.
Using 1/4 cup dry measure coated with cooking spray, evenly portion warm cereal mixture. Using buttered fingers, quickly shape into individual wreaths. Dot with candy.

You make them just like you do Rice Krispie treats with the addition of green food dye. You need to shape them and add the red hots while the mixture is warm

A lot like Rice Krispee treats, no wonder he liked them. I'll pick up the ingrediants tonight and surprise him with them tomorrow!

I made them Sunday night and used Christmas M & Ms. They looked like wreaths with holly on them.

I like chocolate better than I do hot tongue.
