Where can you get codes to get a cheap price, and how cheap have yous got a room for? Any websites? We are not going to May 14, is this too early to find anything good?

ratestogo.com I have used them a couple of times. You can only use it to book a couple of weeks before. Also join great wolf newsletter

If you have CAA you can get a good rate there. I just compared their family suite with two queen and a semi private sitting area for the same date in March on both rates to go and directly on Great Wolf Lodge's site and came up with $257 from rates to go and $195.49 with the CAA rate direct from GWL.

I am a little nervous but am planning on booking one night for just the kids and I as a sort of trial to see how it goes without DH. Since he can't take time off work I'm looking to see how it might be if I take them by myself to Disney next February.

For those that have stayed there before - is the water park area really overwhelming as far as supervising two kids with just one parent? Both are good swimmers and I've watched them while I was alone at the pool at OKW in January but it's just one area to cover and I was still a little uptight the first few times they headed up the slide and then didn't come back down for a while.

How old are your kids?

I would be comfortable going alone with two kids that age. It get's hard if you have a say an 8yr and a 3 yr because the kiddie stuff is in one place and the slides are in another kwim?

We have been 3 times and we always get a group rate. You need 10 rooms to get it. Last year i looked after it and I got a group code, and then just a call out to my friends & family on Facebook. Whomever was interested I gave the code to. They booked and paid for their rooms themselves. It was very easy to get 10 families to go since it's such a good deal. I think it worked out to $179.00 for a Saturday night which is pretty good.
