Great Wolf Lodge, Pocono's PA

We're going to the Great Wolf Lodge next weekend with two other families. I've heard that the restaurants at the Lodge are pretty expensive - are there any restaurants - fast food and sit down - close to there? Is there a "food court" at the lodge? Thanks!

I haven't been to the exact location, but some families from our school were recently there - and their only recommendation was to NOT eat there. Yes, I think there are restaurants nearby...and there's a small food court at the Tannersville Outlets nearby.

We have stayed at the one in Williamsburg Va.. ( going next week as a matter of fact)

Their "resturant" did not seem very kid friendly and expensive... as with WDW
even the "Pizza Hut" located in the Lodge... was higher than a regular "Pizza Hut"

I'd opt for going Off site... there has to be food close by.

Hi, we were at the GWL last February and it was great. I didn't think that the food prices were that over the top expensive. They had a nice buffet restaurant and a little shop that had premade salad, sandwiches etc., it also had a Pizza Hut counter.

We had a great time, and hope you do too!!!!!!!

Not to hijack your thread, but what is there to do in the Poconos? A friend of mine lives near Allentown, and we were thinking of going to visit, maybe staying at Heshey...but now, thinking maybe we could spend a couple nights in the Poconos instead. Also, where would you fly into to get to Great Wolf in Poconos? Philadelphia?

We've been to the Great Wolf 3 times. Not to the poconos- That is our next one to go to.

Anyway- I've always thought the breakfast buffets were pretty good, and not terribly expensive.

We've always taken snacks, and drinks.
