Hi. Has anyone been their? DD13 and I are going with DSIL and her two this Saturday night. Knowing me, I will be on the Lazy River the whole time. We just can't waite :hourglass

Not at $400.00 + a night!

For that Price would rather go to WDW! :lmao: :lmao:

Make sure you let us know if it's really worth the price of admission! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

WOW I remember staying there when it was camping site. Truly loved it being next to the Spainish Aero car. Never had to drive anywhere. didn't know the resort was going to be that expensive. Yes let us know how it goes

I looked it up and was also VERY surprised at the price. That is NUTS imho. I thought it might be affordable b/c there are billboards everywhere around London for it so I thought maybe they were targeting families but to me that is way out of reach. Maybe if it was going to be your "big holiday" for the year, but still I can think of lots of other places for less money that would be more fun...

JMHO. Looking forward to hearing about how it is though.

Hi again. I wouldn't go for that price too. But I will let you know a little secret. My sister inlaw thats going is a Travel Agent. We love her and get great Disney deals too.

I was inside of it a few weeks before it opened. It's really nice. The water park looks great!! The rooms aren't anything to write home about. You'll have fun.

We are going this weekend also. It looks great. There is a resident's special on right now - code NLAP if you are from the Niagara Region - great prices. Booked a room for 8. Planning on saving on food though - just down the street on Bridge is Frank's pizza, picking up few trays for dinner.
Also there is a Grand Opening special NGRAND approx 100.00 off per room for anyone, running till June 22nd not including the May holiday weekens.

i went to one in the poconos in Pa.
grand opening special (took the kids for christmas)

we all loved

expensive but fun

you will have a blast ENJOY...

I know you can get a rate for around $220.00 per night per room.

If you think about it, this includes the water passes and if you do only one night, you can actually use the park for 2 full days.

For example, you check in at 1pm (I think) and you have the whole day to use the water park and if you check out the next day at 11am, you can still use the water park until 10pm!

I didn't check to see how many people in a room for this rate but we are three. If you consider the water park worth about $30.00 per person per day, the room is not such a bad deal.

Now would I ever pay $400.00 for a room there, NO WAY.

It would be Disney here we come but for the discounted rate and taking advantage of the water park over the 2 days, its not such a bad deal.

I agree about the water park passes for 2 days for a family of 4 make the $220/room look very reasonable. A regular price pass at Wild Water Kingdom is already $29/adult and $21/child.

I would take advantage of the grand opening discount and go, had we not done WDW this year already.

Also check with your work place for corporate discount. Mine has just posted some good rates there that also include a round of mini golf for a family of 4.

How did you manage the $220.00 rate?

Can't use the residence rate since they state that they want proof of residency and the $100.00 Off still brings it to over $300!

Do Tell!

I agree, for 220 it's not a bad deal. I looked at the one in Traverse City, MI and you can get a room there for 249 US, which is still a lot cheaper than the 429 which was the cheapest room I could find at Niagara.

Behind and attached to the Brock Plaza and Sheraton, there is a new water park opening up. It is suppose to be larger that Great Wolf Lodge and by the pictures on the Internet looks great. The prices were more reasonable and you can be closer to Clifton Hill. They are also having a grand opening special. I got a rate of $149 for a midweek stay. :thumbsup2

It was for a rate for a date in May that I put in on their Website. It was their least expensive room.

I called directly for this weekend and the rate is $249,00.

I guess it depends on availability for the dates you are booking.

Remember, May has Mothers Day weekend and the long weekend so you may not have much luck at this point unless you can go midweek.

Good Luck!
