Great Wolf Lodge Coming to Boston Area - Spring '14

Thanks for posting. This is someplace we've always wanted to stay but currently they are too far away for a quick weekend away. This will be perfect!

I've heard of Great Wolf Lodge, but wasn't really familiar with what it had for amenities. Based on the article, it looks to be a awesome place!!! So excited for this! My family will love it! :thumbsup2

Looks like Fitchburg, MA. If you go to the Great Wolf website it is listed on there!

My understanding is that it is the old cocokey water park that has been bought out by great wolf lodge, and is being renovated to be reopened in the spring.

Cocokey in Danvers is not closing so that will not be transformed into Great Wolf Lodge, at least not for this particular resort. The Great Wolf Lodge website lists Fitchburg, MA for the new resort.

It is the Coco-key Fitchburg. My friends and I went through heck getting refunds on family 4 passes we bought! This reminds me I need to check my a Disney Visa account for the refund. According to the paper in Worcester, it will be closed about 10 months and it closed just after Labor Day.

Thanks. My girls are so excited. We spent 1 night at the Poconos resort a few years ago. Last summer when we were in Niagara Falls we stopped in just to play Magic Quest. I would prefer Danvers over Fitchburg but it works for me.

Thanks for posting! It's funny, I have always wanted to go but like a previous poster mentioned, the Great Wolf Lodge locations are too far for us. Of course, I was going to try and take my kiddos over winter break to the CocoKey resort in Fitchburg. Guess that won't be happening now
