1. Can anyone tell me what room type is more desirable and why for 2 adults and 2 kids?

i). Queen sofa suite waterpark level
ii). Family suite balcony level ( alot more availability for this room type for the time frame I am looking at)

2. Who can use the nlocal code and what ID/verfication (if any) is asked for at check-in? We are about 2.5-3 hours drive away from Niagara Falls so assume I would not be considered a local person?

Any info. would be really appreciated since I think I might actually book today or tomorrow!!!!

Thank you

Hi there..

We are just back from GW.. and had a really good time.. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, it was tones of fun... we were there for 2nights, we had queen room with the baloney, lots of room, bigger than the all stars rooms at Disney, and we used my husbands work code, they did ask for proof, when we were checking in, so if your using a code be sure to bring it with you. We were on the 4th floor, and it was good, I don't think I would want to be on the waterpark level, as I think there would be alot more Noise. I would bring your breakfast food with you, its not as expensive as Disney, but it is a resort, I brought drinking boxes and snacks stuff with us also. Also, bring your own towels, and crocs or something to wear back and fourth to the waterpark.. Enjoy your trip :) You will be making more family memories...

We have stayed in both Family suites waterpark level and balcony level. While it was somewhat convenient being on the same floor as the waterpark, it was actually negated by the fact that we were at the END of the hall way so we ended up walking what seemed like a mile anyways. :scared1: The wait for the elevator when we were on a higher floor was negligible. You pay more for the waterpark level, which I consider a waste of money. I would stay there if it was free, but I wouldn't pay for what could be a perk. If you happen to luck out with a waterpark room that opens up to a parking space, that could be seen as a convenient bonus (for unpacking and packing purposes).

The ceilings on the waterpark level are high too. I liked to regular height rooms on the upper floor (seemed more cozy). Also, I hated the noise from the room above us when we were on the lower floor. The stomping didn't stop until after 11 pm and my younger girls were trying to sleep (and so was I!). The next time I will request a top floor room to minimize noise. :wizard:
