One of our very own DISers, tykes (Tamie) is doing her best to help a terminally ill friend take her family to WDW. Here is a link to the thread she posted about her efforts.

They have managed through generous donations here on the DIS and at her workplace to secure accomodations at DVC's Old Key West and airline tickets for the family along with spending money etc. However, as we all know, food at WDW is expensive and it can be very hard to feed a family on a small budget.
So, Tamie and I have discussed via PMs the possibility of getting the family some vouchers to help make their donated funds stretch farther. However, she is unsure about how those how have donated the money will feel about the vouchers (not really understanding how they work etc.).
So, I thought I would suggest to any of you with extra vouchers that you contact Tamie (via PM or email) and see if you can donate them to this great cause and put them to good use. What a terrific way to help this family!!
