Great Visit to vwl

I have been reading these posts for a long time. We bought into DVC with BCV as our home last Oct. We went for a weekend in Jan to BCV and did really enjoy it. Today we, a family of 6, just returned from 4 days at VWL. It was so great, I thought I'd post a few comments since I learned so much from you all by reading all your comments. Our family-4 teens- DS17, DS 14, DD 14 and DD 14 (triplets) and myself and DH visited for 4 days and the kids gave it a score of 9 as the best disney trip ever. We went to the hoop-de-doo review one night and the kids loved it. They all thought it would be so dumb before we went and after declared it AS THE HIGHLIGHT . We slept late and tried new places for lunch throughout disney resorts. We llike to see them all. (Beaches and Cream and Pepper Market were our favorites) We have annual passes so we just go to parks when we can without waiting in too long of lines. We had planned to lounge around the pool a bit every day, but it was to cold for us southerners.
VWL could easily become a real favorite. We loved the place. We took "Stan's" tour and the kids even enjoyed it. The onsite restaurant is a lot of fun. The waiters really goof with you. Can't wait til our next trip.

Hi! I'm glad to hear you had such a great trip. VWL is our home resort and we enjoy it everytime we are there. I think we could stay there every trip and never get tired of it. We will be staying at OKW this spring and I'm afraid we might miss our home resort but it will be fun to finally try something new.

We just got back from a trip at OKW, 1st stay there. We like you were approaching the trip with apprehension. Things turned out fine. Little hint that Doc gave me, if it seems a little noisy, turn the fan to on position on the heat/ac and it muffles it very nicely.
If you do get homesick, drive over to VWL and take soak it all in

We will stay at OKW again.

Thanks for posting. As Fl Res also, we have been a ton of times the past few years. I've been thinking that the kids would get burned out by the time they were teenagers. It's nice to see that teens do enjoy the Disney experience, too. It's so much fun to do some of the other things (HDDR). The VWL are one of our favoriite places to stay.
