Great vegetarian restaurants in Orlando?

Anybody know of any great vegetarian (or veggie-friendly) restaurants in the Disney area? We usually end up going to chain restaurants (Denny's, TGIFriday's, Olive Garden, etc.) because there are just SO many restaurants to choose from, and we have no idea what's good and what's not (we went to an expensive and awful Indian restaurant in Orlando, and that made us feel a little less adventurous about trying new places without recommendations).

BTW, I'm vegetarian and my husband is not, so we are generally looking for restaurants that are both veggie-friendly and low-carb friendly.

Thanks for the link! I tend to avoid buffets because it's so hard to know what's vegetarian and what's not--I love it that Sweet Tomatoes tells you what's vegetarian. I will definitely check it out the next time I'm in Orlando.

Season's 52 on Sandlake Road. It is great and they use only fresh produce and the menu changes weekly hence the name. They are not strictly veggie but a definate cut above the places you mentioned and all the food is cooked to order so you can to coin a phrase"have it your way"

The prices are moderate. They are definately more than a Denny's, Perkins or Chili's but they are good. In that area is Sandlake Road. I go to the Samba Room there also. They have an all vegetable entree that is really very good too and you get 5.00 off per entree with the free Orlando Magic card available on line. Lots of great places on Sandlake. I must have written this twenty times on different posts so I am sure when I go back I will have a huge wait but I love the area and I am sure you will too. There are tons of really nice choices.

i'm a very strict vegetarian and to my knowledge there aren't any strict vegetarian restaurants in orlando....
i can never understand why not, but that's the situation...
