We just got back from WDW doing the QSDD (free of course), just DD and myself. We had a hard time using the snack credits and at checkout found we had 10 left over (no, we didn't skimp on the shakes, ice creams and dole whips while there 6 days). DD is in middle school and wanted to bring back something for her teachers but we wanted to make it a token gift since she has 5 subject teachers and "we're on a budget". Throughout our stay she had noticed the "cute" candy boxes with Disney sayings on them. Last day we find out that they can be used as snacks... Great... burned all our leftover credits before running out to the airport (think they're $4 each.. a bit steep for what's inside). DD had already gotten an inexpensive key chain (mickey ear decorated styrofoam) for each teacher (in T of T gift shop) so we added box of candy to make the gift seem a little less "cheap". Boy, the candy was made a real hit with the teachers. We gave each one a different box which had different chocolate inside. The teachers had a "candy buffet" dessert at lunch time and really enjoyed the gift. DD felt great that she didn't come home empty handed and I was glad that even though the gift was a token (we're doing gift cards for end of year gift) it was really enjoyed... not another coffee mug or picture frame.
