Great trip last week!!

Hey all. We just got back on Saturday for a week in WDW. I was a little worried before hand from reading post about HUGE crowds, Magic Bands not working properly, missing photos on photo pass and not being about to use the regular fastpass machines..
Im happy to say that we had a MAGICAL time! The crowds were fine, We only had problems with our magic bands the first day. My parents couldn't get into their room for about an hour.. They had to replace the scanner on their door and then it worked fine.. At the end of our trip the Polynesian credited my dad $840 for the inconvenience!!! To us it wasn't that big of a deal so we couldn't believe the credit he got!!

I was missing two sets of photos on my photopass account. I filled out the online form for missing photos and they were in my account with in 4 hours.

Fastpass+ worked great and the only place we got extra paper fastpasses was at Hollywood for Toy Story Mania once (we rode twice that day) and at Magic Kingdom for Peter Pan, Big Thunder Mountain, Dumbo & Rupunzel Meet & Greet.. And this was over 2 days.

My son got very sick Sunday night and we had Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets Monday night.. They let me switch our tickets to the Thursday night party so he could still attend the party.
Over all aside from my son getting sick it was an AMAZING trip and we cannot wait to go back.
I hope this helps some of you that have been worried about your upcoming trip because of all the negative posts!

we too just got back from the same week and had the MOST wonderfulful magical time!!! We had no FP+ or Magic band problems and the return lines had no problems either. It was very crowded on our MK days on Sun, Mon, but less on Thurs and less on Friday. We had no waits on any rides using our FP+ it was great. DD2 had such a great time!

We did MK, MK, DHS, AK, MK, MK... the only thing i would have changed was to do Epcot on our last day instead of MK. DD2 said, 'no rides.' I think showing her a new park would have been better. She LOVED meeting talking Mickey. FP or FP+ needed.. we would be in and out in 10 minutes. It was amazing. Did it many times. Enchanted Tales with Belle was so magical. DD2 was 'chip' both times. She got to hug Belle. She laid her head on her dress and the audience all went, "awe!" and Belle kissed her too. I never thought we would be at EMH morning hours at MK but DD2 was up at 5:30am everyday ready to go full of excitement. That 1 hour did make a huge difference! We did a lot! She LOVED It's Tough to be a Bug.. had her jaw dropped the whole time! Loved Philharmagic too.. lots of laughs! It was so magical.. YAY for November!!! Oh, but we did not go to the Christmas party, DD2 was up at 3:30am slept til 5:30am and was up for the day, only napped once on Animal Kingdom's day -zonked out on the Festival of the Lion King.. and so we would always have her in bed by 7-8pm. I LOVED the Surf and Surf burger at Art of Animation. Yay again for magical trips!! By far the best, DD made it SO much better!!
