Great Trip/5th Birthday Celebrated

We just returned on Wednesday from a 5 day whirlwind trip to celebrate my DD's 5th birthday. I have to say, I took all the hints I've learned from this site and applied it and was told by my family that this was the best vacation ever! One great experience we had was that I had made a reservation at the California Grill for the night of 3/22 at 8:20. I had contacted the restaurant and explained to them that my family had gone through some hard times over the past year (my dh had a few cancer surgeries) and that our family was celebrating my DD's 5th birthday. They provided a table near the window decorated with mickey confetti. My DD got a pretty pink princess cake and then they surprised us by having her help Tinkerbell start the fireworks show. The staff gave her a card with a photo of the fireworks on it and they all signed it. They also gave her a certificate that stated that she was part of the fireworks show on 3/22/04. It was a magical night.

We also had the opportunity of going to Cirque Du Soleil's La Nouba on our last night. It was AWESOME!

It was so good, we are going to do it again next year!!!
