Great trip 2/8-2/12, little wait time!

I saw another post about bad crowds and I have to say I thought it was a great week to be there.


We jut got back from our trip. We did MK on 2/9, MGM 2/10 and AK and Epcot on 2/12. The longest wait we had on any ride was 40 minutes and that was at MGM during the EMH for the Great Movie ride. Our day at MK was great (definitely worth it to be there at opening, we rode Buzz 3 times and Space Mt. twice in the first hour.)and Epcot on Saturday was practically empty, we really didn't even need any fastpasses, Going through the World Showcase was like spending the day at a big open park.

I was nervous about Mardi Gras but maybe a lot of them left by Wednesday.

I was also wondering if Speed Weeks at Daytona are affecting the crowd levels at all. With NASCAR gaining a lot of popularity these past few years, I wonder if people are going to WDW for a few days then up to Daytona? My aunt and uncle went for the Bud Shootout (Yes, I'm a huge NASCAR fan but very bitter at my favorite driver for getting married this past December) and said they talked to a lot of people who drove up from WDW. Just a thought.
