I would but our Caa set's there rate first thing in the morning and never changes during the day. The big banks are never a good rate .

.94 is the trade rate as i thought it was good the other day at .92 BUT I still asked at the bank and it was 1.10 and then yesurday was 1.0962 which still I thought was great for $400 I got $364

The rates posted by the banks will include a service charge (usually about 2%).

Went into TDCanada Trust today to get $200 USD and when I heard the rate, I said "give me $300"! - it was $326.19 Cdn! Think I'll go online soon and purchase tickets too!

I am STILL biding my time..... the economy is growing and the talk of raising the prime rate will boost the dollar more. I don't have to pay off my trip until August so I am waiting. I did the conversion this morning check this out....... I owe about $3200.00 on the trip...... that's $3393.28 Cdn. WOW!
