Great Rates from Delta to MCO

I just books us roundtrip tickets through Delta from Nashville, TN to Orlando for $95.20 per person !!!!!

Teri....check again! this fare goes through the end of the year--except that there are blackout dates around the Christmas week. It can't hurt to look! The fares out of Louisville are $123+tax, and there look to be a lot more available days around Christmas

Delta is the only airline offering the fare, too. I found this fare on www.travelocity.com

I have flown Delta a lot and recently flew their Song airline and loved it, but for my Disney trip in Oct I booked Jetblue because Delta is in financial trouble now and who knows where they will be by Oct, let alone December.

I just did not feel comfortable taking that chance.

Bless you uofl...We live in louisville but our family is in Nashville and we often fly out of there for cheaper fares (and a quick visit with Grandma coming or going)...we have a fall trip planned...had not really figured on cheap airfares yet, but when I saw your note I thought I'd give it a try... we got the $92.50 RT fare!!!! including taxes etc...I am so happy. Nonstops both ways, perfect flight times, even assigned seats!! YIPPEEE.

The funny thing is right after I booked our seats I called some friends that are meeting us there and she tried to book through Delta and said the cheapest fare she could pull up for any dates around then was $225/person. She then went to Orbitz and was able to book the cheaper fare through them (had to pay $6/person service fee...but still a bargain)....looks like she got in right under the wire because Delta doesn't seem to have that cheap fare available anymore...I don't know if it was a fluke...but you sure made my day!!! Thanks!!!!

It's still available, and it looks like US Air and Northwest have matched the prices...woo hoo!!

Well...sad news... all the bargains of yesterday are gone now!! My sister decided to go with us in the fall (10/29 - 11/6) and tickets that we bought for $92.50 yesterday are now over $230!!... Delta pulled the fares after noon yesterday, but US Air and NW had almost matching fares up last night with very limited availability....and this AM none of them are there, at least for anytime in Oct and November.

The $123 out of Louisville is gone too....glad I caught them at the right moment....Thanks again UofL....never would have known about them without your post!!

Thank goodness my husband has been obsessed with checking airfare and checks it everyday and he was able to find the low rates. But we decided that it would be more economical and convenient for us to fly out of Louisville since we have family there that we can stay with the night before and we can leave our car at their house. We were able to get a rate of $141.00 per person out of Louisville, so in the long run it should equal out because we will not have to pay for a hotel room the night before and for parking at the airport. Last year we paid 150.00 per person and I thought that was a good rate and this year we are still flying for less!! Now I am hoping for a good deal on rooms and a good deal on rental cars.

I hope that your sister is able to find a lower fare. I am sure my husband will keep checking (he just wants to make sure we are still getting and good deal) and if I hear of anything I will let you know.
