M.Pots - glad to hear you got the $129 rate. That is a terrific rate for an Epcot hotel so close to everything. If you think about the cost of the Yacht&Beach and Boardwalk, which are your neighbors, $129 for the Dolphin is great! While this is our first Dolphin stay, we love the Boardwalk area (our last 3 trips to WDW have been at the Boardwalk Villas) I can't speak too much about getting around from Dolphin to the BW. If I recall, it is just a short walk to the BW area (over the bridge) and also to Y&B. We enjoy the restaurant choices, convenience, night time activities, and proximity to EPCOT and MGM. My daughter is 8 & son is 6 and they really like walking the BW at night when lots of people are out & about, getting snacks from the carts, and chatting with vendors selling stuff. My daughter also likes getting her hair wrapped, but beware it's a bit expensive. One thing we like to do is to order takeout from one of the BW restaurants, pick the food up and eat dinner at a table in the pool area. The kids keep swimming and we are a bit more relaxed. We've also rented the surrey bikes, walked the beach in front of Y&B, and just love being able to walk to EPCOT and enter through the World Showcase entrance. We're there May 7-14, so wave to us when we walk by!
