Great movie ride broke down while I was on it

Just wondering if anyone was there with me. The Great movie ride blew a fuse or something on Wednesday, December 13th and had to shut down. We were about to enter the alien scene when it happened. We had to be escorted out of the attraction. The lights went out and everything. DD3 got a bit scared. We didn't get any fastpasses or anything. We waited 25 min. to ride too. We got to ride again on Friday and it was fine.

That would have made the ride soooooo interesting. I was there that day too!! I find that ride BORING and SOOOOOO outdated. And with all the great cast members there....can't they get some better guides!!

Ride most in need of updating....Great Movie Ride!!!

It was acting up when I was there too. It stopped at the Alien scene and it also stopped in the Casablanca room and the audio stopped in that room too.
We just had to sit there and wait. Also Test Track messed up when we were on it. It stopped just as you come out of the hot/cold section and we sat there for about 10 minutes so when we got to the beginning they asked if we wanted to ride again. So we did, and it messed up again, although not as bad as the first time. Kinda scary! I'm glad it did not mess up when we were on the outside track!!

I would hate to be on any attration when it breaks down...it kills the magic.

I have been on figment when it broke down, but that was more comical than anything.

We broke down "on the yellow brick road" right before the movie started. We got to see the movie twice. This was on Friday Dec 15th.

We rode The Great Movie Ride late in the afternoon on December 13 but didn't have any problems that I can think of. I was shocked to see a female playing the "Bugsy" role (from the mobsters underworld scene to the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom scene) however.

The first time we rode it "Bugsy" was a man. The second time "bugsy" was a lady who was probably about 55 or 60! It was weird! (No offense to anyone about that, I just was not expecting it)

Same here. No offense intended. It's just that I've ridden that ride about 10 times and had never seen a female "Bugsy" before so I too was shocked.

It broke down when I was on it in August, too. We didn't have to be escorted off, though we were stuck for so long, I wish they would have. It kept stopping and starting up again. I forget what scenes we were stuck in, but one was right before the alien scene also. We missed the part when our guide was "kidnapped" because everyone was trying to fix the problem. When we got off we got no Fastpasses, and not even an apology.

There was some trouble on our last trip 3 weeks ago, the vehicle just stopped twice. We saw a CM walking just ahead of us with a flashlight pointed towards the bottom of the wall so I don't know if they were looking for something that would've caused it to stop or what.

Yep, time for a rehab.

In 2003 DH, DD, DS and I got stuck on Space Ship Earth. We were close to the end of the ride where you are going down backwards. We sat for 30 plus minutes before someone came to escort us out. When the lights came on I could not believe how dirty and dusty it was in there.

Yeah, I was on the Great Movie Ride and I we got robbed. A guy came and hijacked our vehicle. Definitely needs a rehab.
