Four months is more than enough time to spread any/everywhere now with no restrictions of movement present. I honestly would not worry about it in regards to a future cruise.

It really isn't a big deal at this point. Eventually they will stop reporting on this stuff. The CDC is going to stop posting community infection levels, even. There will always be a new variant. They are only getting less severe as they come up.

However, this latest variant is still dangerous for over-65s and the immunocompromised, both being eligible for another bivalent booster now.

If you've anyone in either category, cosulting with a doctor as the cruise gets closer is wise.

thanks for all the reassuring replies--its been so long since we were able to cruise and are so looking forward to it
I sure wish at this point the CDC would just not say anything--by now everyone knows what they should be doing and just leave it at that
I really dont think that the world could handle another lockdown or just people in general
Ill go back to counting down the days
