Great Jewel Hunt Quest! Yay! (need help)

And yes, I did this quest, but came in 500th!! And I thought I did well at this one.. I am definitely NOT cut out for questing...

I finished the quest in 21 minutes (give or take some seconds there) and got 176th place and no prize.

DD got on computer and hopped in line- so she and dh finished quest - and they did it in 13+ minutes finishing 76th and getting a pretty princess hat- I can't believe they beat my time-

I guess those few that stumped me at first didn't stump them lol and I didn't even help them

DH didn't do the quest on his own character- time was running out to get into line again and he thought it would be cheating to play again lol

Wow! I must be vmk stupid! LOL! I was in that thing for almost 2 hours.

Guess that just wasn't meant to be my quest.

I got 150th place but no prize on my third or fourth attempt, using a different character each time. The non-successful tries were flops because while I was trying to move away from the jewel, I clicked Quit Quest by accident. I did report that to HOST_Phinny and suggested they add a confirm to the quit.

AAARGH! but the quest was fun and challenging.

I was having a lot of problems with this quest--me and Pixie-stick were messaging each other on a couple of them, and I missed the across the bridge and to the door jewel--just didn't see it.

I never ended up finishing it. My time was so high, and I kept on DC, so I just gave up and went to bed.

I got stumped on across the bridge. I now know every bridge in VMK. I did go to Tikki room but must have missed it. I did not finish and my brian hurt from trying. I did Hula's and enjoyed it. Though I did it as fast as I could I still placed 194. Do people do these quest and then take a mule and do them again. With reading clues just know ing the answers. To me that is the only way people could do this quest in half the time.

I think that there are a lot of people who do the quest, and then use a mule so they can do it faster (or more likely in reverse--use a mule and then their main character so they can see their names on the fastest times).

That's my theory, but I think that they do use mules in other ways to get
more prizes, too.

When I tried Hula's quest yesterday, I saw that Disvaclub was in 5th place
time when I started. When I finished, I came in about 10 second behind
her.

What did we end up placing? She ended up in 114 (if I recall her telling me
correctly) and I ended up at 123. You can't convince me that people
didn't mule it.

I was helping my dad last night with this quest (He doesn't know that many rooms in VMK, lol) and he finished in 17 minutes (this is with a dc). I wonder how he did?!?

For me, I got 23 minutes or so, It was loading way too slow for me!

Oh well, I always seem to end up in the hundreds with all of these host quests. I finished one quest in 190th, LOL However, I did finish, in one of the quests, in a prize place, and got a tomorrowland pin (the orange one), but that is the only prize I have gotten from all of the quests I have done so far, .
