We went to Goofy's Kitchen last Sat for our first character breakfast. It was a really great experience (thank goodness for the price!). We made reservations so only had to wait 5 min to be seated which was just enough time to get pics with Pluto.
Characters:
Jasmine (took DDs hand and danced the macarena with her :goodvibes )
Snow White
Alice
Bear from Jungle book (how do you spell his name?)
Gepetto
Goofy
Pluto
Chip (but no Dale)

We did not get our picture with Snow White but DD got to dance with her during the dance and she was thrilled about that. She switched out with Alice about mid way thru the breakfast.

I was really happy with Jasmine too (so was DH since she was hot ;) )since she took DDs hand and talked with her and danced with her. She stayed with her for the dance and walked her back. My 5 yr old DD was so thrilled, I can't tell you how her eyes just shined! That was one of those experiences that really made the trip worth it.

I thought the food was very good and service was very good. They had a a great selection of kid friendly foor for lunch and breakfast. My kids were beyond thrilled with the mickey pancakes and waffles. :earsboy:
I would definitely recommend it to others.
Just wanted to share.

thanks for sharing.

WE have dinner reservations there next month. I hope it's as good as your breakfast!

We also have ressies with them for Easter Dinner, our first night there. I can't wait! Sounds like they really have a variety of characters there. My kids are just on the verge of not caring so much about the characters, so this sounds like a great way to rev up their enthusiasm. :lmao:

Wow, sounds like it was really great! We are dining there in June (also on a Saturday) and I just hope we see as many characters AND princesses since I have 2 DDs!

Are you a family of 4? How much was it, if you don't mind my asking! :)

Goofy's Kitchen is so much fun - even for adults! The dinner is very good, too, and includes a yummy salad bar and dessert bar! :)

We had 5 but didn't have to pay for the 2 yr old. We had the AAA 10% discount and it was $76 or $78....

As DH said, it was about a $50 brunch and $25 photo shoot ;)

I don't know why Gepetto is always there. Who wants to see Gepetto??? My dd is always like who is that mommy...

Anyway I'm glad you had a good time.

I agree! I wondered what was up with that? Of all the characters why take up times with him (no offense Gepetto lovers) when you could have so many others that the kids would get more excited about and actually know of...

We took my (then) 80-year old MIL to dinner @ Goofy's Kitchen and the interaction with Gepetto was the best! He bowed to her and kissed her hand. She is a widow and the pictures we have of the interaction are priceless - he truly made her feel special. So, though our children preferred the other Disney characters, Gepetto was the one character who made my MIL's trip to Disneyland magical. princess:

Thanks for this review! We have done CM's at WDW many times, so I debated going to Goofy's Kitchen. It sounds like there is a bigger variety of characters, so it will definately be something different!

Glad you had a good experience!:)
