We took our first Disney trip. Just got back Monday night. We went with a group of 16 families all whom have children with special needs. We stayed at All Star Music. I can't say more for the CM's and their kindness to our kids! They were always very helpful and went out of their way to give an extra smile or character hug. At Goofys Country Jamboree, Jessie, Woody's girlfriend from Toy Story. Came out into the crowd to get my daughter to dance. What a nice experience for my daughter. If there are any CM's reading here I just want to say thanks for giving extra special magic to our kids!

Glad to hear you had a magical trip.
Thanks for posting. We do get some CMs who read this board from time to time, so hopefully one will see this and be happy that they were appreciated.

Laney's Mom, what a wonderful post. It's nice to know that your group found the ol' Disney magic. :D

Sue posted a link on the CM board and I had to come over & see. I had a great experience there in May with my h/c grama. We stayed at POR and rented an ECV from Walker. Chad, one of the bellman at POR, got the ECV and showed my grama exactly what to do with the machine. It was great! Everywhere we went, the CMs were especially attentive to grama's needs. Two thumbs up for teh WDW cast from this DS CM! Glad you had a great experience also!:D

Hey doombuggy. I will have my Mom on a trip with me this fall. I will have to rent a scooter for her and I was wondering if you have any suggestions for me. I feel we might be in a similar situation if this was your first experience with traveling with a person with a scooter.

I'm glad you had a fantastic experience... I'm tearing up just reading that!!!

What a great experience for you...I am sure everyone in your group was thrilled with the Disney experience.

Oh thank you for posting such a positive experience. It can be scary for parents who may be traveling for the first time with their special needs kids and it's so good for them to hear a positive story. I echo the kindness of CM's to our kids. Fantastic!
