Great experience at Sci-Fi last Wednesday (12/8)!

We had a 1:40 PS for a car at Sci-Fi and were seated within 10 minutes of checking in. There were 6 of us and we filled up a car, MIL and FIL in the front, SIL and BIL in the middle, DH and I in the rear.

It was REALLY cold for some reason where we were...MIL and SIL were very chilly and actually mentioned something to our server...next thing we know the manager is brining over a jacket and a shirt for them to wear. How nice!

Our meal was awesome and very filling...all us kids got cheeseburgers/fries/shakes, MIL had a salad and I think FIL had the reuben.

Towards the end of the meal, as our CM was clearing our table I happened to glance down at my watch and I noticed the date...I turn to DH and say "Do you know what happened 3 years ago today?" (this being just after he said "i remember everything"...of course he didn't know) i said "you proposed to me 3 years ago today over at the Magic Kingdom.

Evidently our waiter overheard me and brought over a complimentary sundae for us to share with a candle on top to celebrate - how sweet!

Awwww, how nice of your server! We like the Sci-Fi too, the burgers are great. And the atmosphere is awesome.

I know I must be one of the few, but I just love the Sci-Fi. We always just get burgers and shakes, maybe thats why. Glad you had a great time.

I am so glad to read good reviews of the sci fi. My 2 DD's have their hearts set on going there in january. And although any thing is usually good for me, I have to admit that I have been nervous about going. We are not fancy eaters, burgers, fries, chicken tenders, and shakes sound about perfect. Thanks for the postings.

Your not alone. We ate there last week and the kids loved it. The food was good (the ribs were a little messy).

all 6 of us REALLY enjoyed our meals there...we ALL had been very good all week and not eaten alot of 'junk food' and I, personally, was craving a burger. Totally hit the spot.

Poor SIL...we told her to go easy on her shake, or she'd never finish her meal. Sure enough, she got full really fast! The shakes are SOOO GOOD though!

The funniest thing about the place is the CM's though...our car was towards the back, near the picnic tables and door to the kitchen...you could hear the CM's talking along with the clips being shown on the big screen as they went in and out of the kitchen...I wonder how long you have to work there until you memorize it all!
