Great Escapes Vacation Club??

Anyone familiar with this company? They are like a "travel club" not timeshare, but you buy into the club (not cheap ) to access their great travel deals.
A lady I work with went to a presentation recently and purchased the package and I just wondered if any of my DIS buddies have heard or have experience with this company?
She of course referred my DH and I and I can't decide if I should go.....
