Great deal on ebay

I am new to these boards and i saw a great deal on a 7-day cruise on e-bay for March 2005. I am wondering if you have any advice about purchasing on e-bay? I checked with DCL and the price is about 30% less. Any advice?

We've been watching that auction in astonishment....Buying from DCL, then transferring to an agent that offers a discounted fare or stateroom credits might be a better bet.

This a travel agency offering on DCL and the agency has been certified by square trade also. I am guessing this might be group space they are holding since there are other rooms available if you contact them. The sailing date is our spring break so it works out well for the kids too.

I did contact them to try and get more information and was told they are an actual agency. I haven't bought anything like this on e-bay before and was looking for some advice from somebody who might have done this before.

I have bought several things on e-bay and so far I have been lucky. I have always just tried to talk to the seller and get as much info as I can. Why don't you call them and ask them if they have something they could fax to you showing they are indeed real rooms. Surely they must have some sort of invoice or something from DCL. Once you see that, I would go for it, it sounds like a great deal.

I am not sure if I can put a link in here but I just went into e-bay, travel and searched on Disney cruises and it is the 7-day sailing on 3/5 eastern route. I noticed that it looks like you are sailing on that date.

The family and I have been before but have always dealt with an agency/someone we know and we want to go again.

MAy I suggest Dana at www.micdan.com she is with cruiseplanners and she has always beaten my lowest price! Example, she saved me $500 off of DCLs price for my May 06 cruise.

I second the suggestion to try Dana....She's wonderful and her rates are great!
