Empirically, electronics tend to drop in price at about that rate usually... surprising to some (particularly those who over-price stuff on craigslist), but a definitely reality in high tech products.

Indeed this is true, but it's still roughly a year away... great chance for people to get a Wii who don't have one already (or get a second one to stream Netflix in another room, etc)
