Great burger at Hurricane Hanna's at BC!

I was staying at the BWV, the first week of December. I was headed to Epcot in the evening. I just wanted a good cheeseburger. I was looking for Beaches and Cream, but I sort of stumbled upon Hurricane Hanna's out at the pool instead. Sometimes, if a restaurant is *VERY* busy and noisy, it can give me indigestion. There was no one sitting out there at the pool at the time, and they were still able to cook. I had a really good cheeseburger, with a wonderful, calm, and relaxing atmosphere overlooking the pool. I highly recommend this place, especially for a solo. It felt so wonderful to eat in peace and quiet, for a change. Eating in my room feels too lonely, but eating out there did not feel lonely at all - just so peaceful !

Sounds like a very pleasant meal. B&C can get so noisy.

It was reported that at the BCV annual meeting, the GM told members that Hurricane Hannah's had a new grill and would be making burgers just like those at B&C.

Did you happen to notice the hours? I know in the past it has had seasonal hours. I wonder if that has changed?

I just came here to post a question about HH and here was your post! My goal of our 11 day vacation is to eat at every deluxe hotel. Well, I've used all 10 of my TS credits, paying oop of hoop and ohana for breakfast, and don't want to get rid of anything but I still need to get to the Beach Club/Yacht Club. So I was thinking of using a CS credit for HH (and my daughter's name is Hanna). Is it easy to get to from MGM or DTD? Is it in the pool area? We are staying at WL, is it open to only BC guests? Thanks!

B&C was closed in early Dec perhaps even when Claudia visited. But it is open again and according to the GM will be serving the same burgers as B&C. Someone posted that you can even order burgers from the servers that circulate the pool area. I do wonder if hours will be more set now.

lovevacations, HH is in the pool area just off the walkway by the lake. You do not need to be a guest of YC/BC/BCV to eat there. From DTD you would need to take a bus and from MGM a boat or walk. The burgers are very good but there are good alternatives at both MGM and DTD.

I am so glad to hear the explanation as to why I could not seem to find Beaches & Cream.
It was closed for renovations ! When I stumbled upon Hurricane Hanna's, I saw a sign there that said they serve the same burgers as B & C.
I'm glad that mystery's solved!

So HH is a CS? I think I will plan on doing that on one of our MGM days! Although our girls may want to take a dip. Can resort guests pool hop?
