I just bought Birnbaums's WDW for Kids by Kids, the Official Guide for my dd ::MinnieMo who is 7.5. It is awesome for her lever and she loves it. We have been reading it together and I am learning bunches too....

My 7 year old dd loves that book too. I bought her one 2 years ago. She still reads it and likes to look at the pictures. It brings back great memories of our trip for her. I wouldn't spend too much money on the most up to date one though. The information in that book doesn't look like it gets updated too much. ::MinnieMo

I would love to get DS that book (He will be 7 (barely) when we're there), but it has too much information on it. The fact the book labels some rides "dark" and/or "scary" would make him not go on any of those rides, even though I know he would love the ride. (He's the same way with some children's movies).

If anyone knows of another guide book whose target audience is kids, I would love to know it.

What ages is the book intended for? Will it be Okay for a 10 year old who was at disney 2 years ago?

Thanks

I would think so. The pictures are great too. So he can at least see some of his favorite rides/attractions.

My DD loved this book!!!! she picked up hints, etc. about the parks and rides she will still pick up the book and read it and she is 11. worth the money. she highlighted in it and read it on the plane.
