ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! Were they NOT expecting a zillion people to try and access their site? It worked for about 20 minutes and crashed. I have no clue as to whether or not I'm actually registered for the 2 classes I signed up for (when I could actually get on their site). I got what I thought was a confirmation email, until I read the end part saying they were processing a refund?!! Of course now the site is down again (it's 7am EST). How frustrating!!!! (We won't even get into how horrific it is to navigate on the site when it's actually up, that's a whole other post! maggie

I'm with you! I was up until after midnight hoping it would come back up. I got some classes picked out, but never checked out and paid for them before it crashed.

I guess we just keep checking back today hoping to get it quick. Lots of classes were already getting very full when it died last night.

Having fun shouldn't be this stressful!

Good luck getting your classes!

I never got registered either and now I'm going to the beach tommorow so I won't be able to register until next Sunday. What are the chances there will be any classes left by then? Well I guess it depends if they get the site working by then eh? It's Sunday 6:30pm EST and it's still not up!!!

OMG.... didn't even notice it said processing a refund on the confirmation e-mail. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. What the heck.

So I called the phone number from the e-mail. They said that the refund bit was a programming error, and that there is no refund and my crop for Friday night was still good. Bought and paid for.

Apparently they were inundated with too many hits, and they anticipate being up sometime after midnight but it could be as late as next week some time!!!!!

They said that it should be pretty much as if you got on the first day - classwise, only much faster when it finally comes up. The number up right before it crashed that I saw - - less than 100 seats gone on the Friday night crop.

What exactly do you do at crop night? Does everyone just work on their book? Anything else? Thanks, I've never been to one of these before. Just curious.

Geez, it's still down. I've been checking about every hour or so. I know I want to sign up for a few workshops, but I never even finished going through the offerings.

I'm leaving town today but don't want to miss out, so I'm taking my laptop with me just so I can keep checking the website.

Hi -

I skipped all the hassle of signing up for the crops through the website by sigining up through my LSS. You may want to check into it. It was so much easier. Not sure if they are all offering to do it either.

Pammy -

At most of the crops I go to, you work on whatever your heart desires. I usually organize prior to going by taking whatever pictures I want to scrap, and in a scrap-n-file I got from my LSS, I put the pictures, paper I want to use, stickers or any other embellishments that I want to use in each seperate file. Then I pack up my Crop-N-Style Navigator with my cutter, eyelets, fibers, etc...and the scrap-n-file. That way I'm all organized and can get right to work, rather than lugging all my paper and embellishments to the crop and wasting time picking all that stuff out while I'm there.

I'm also a stamper, so there have been crops that I bring my stamp stuff instead to work on cards...but those are few and far between because I'm a die-hard scrapper and only stamp for special stuff like Christmas cards.

From what I've been told, the tables at the convention crops will be round and will sit 5 people. I've been to some where you are on square or rectangle tables and need to be extrememly organized since you don't get a ton of space. I'm curious to see how the round tables will work...:)

If you have any other questions, give me a holler...either here or a PM.
