This is one of my favorite rides in Disney. The last time we were there, end of August and parks were not very crowded, this ride had a 50 minute wait. We went in and it said the wait was 25 minutes but we ended up waiting almost 50 minutes. I don't believe the ride was down and thought I read that since fp, the waits have gotten much longer. This ride used to be a walk on when we went. How have the waits been recently?

We went 2 weeks ago and it was a 15 minute wait. There's not much to do is HS to occupy non hoppers for a day so this ride is getting more attention than before.

I think it's been hit or miss for us. On a rainy day it seems the waits are longer because most of the line is covered. I've actually complained because the wait wasn't long enough and I don't get to see all the props and have yet to see the entire new film they show in the waiting room.

We were there at the beginning of June and wait times varied between 30-55 minutes. The lowest we had was around 6pm and during a heavy downpour... walked on in less than 5 minutes!

It's unpredictable, and crowd levels aren't really an indication. If crowds are low they might only run one side, driving wait times way up.

When we were there two weeks ago, The Great Movie Ride was our longest wait all week. I didn't FP it because we don't usually ride it, but we were walking past and thought why not. I think we waited about 30 minutes for it.

This is probably what happened in August when we went. The line was moving extremely slow.
