Great Alamo Minivan Rate for 9/12-9/19

Had a reservation with Dollar from months ago for for $199/wk base and a total of $268.68 for a minivan for Sat. 9/2- sat. 9/19. Got an earlier flight on SW today for a cheaper price- yahoo for more time at the Mouse House and saving flight $- but Dollar wanted $119 more to get my rental at noon instead of 5pm!

Did some shopping around-

With Mousesavers corporate code IG (Alamo's last minute code) and the Entertainment book Free Day coupon, I just booked a minivan through alamo for the same time frame, noon pick up time and total with taxes and fees is: $251.57

Anyone looking for a larger vehichle last minute might try this combination!

I am a DVC Member and I booked before Disney started offering free dinning in Sept. I rented a Mini Van, more than 8 months out for my 10 day trip 09//08/09 - 09/18/09 and got it for around $450. However I always check rates again as my trip nears. This time the same info was almost $1300. Am happy i book early.

I am going to WDW in Sept and I think the rates went up because of Disney Free Dinning Offer.
