fxciii, how did you get such great fare rates? I am new to this whole flying thing as I have never really planned a vacation before. What do I click on to get the great rates you got?Did you have a discount code? I will be flying out of philly as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Song ('fancier' Delta...) is $99 each way (actually $99 one...$97 back) from LAX to MCO.

Airfare just bottomed out for round trip from Pittsburgh - we just got Round trip for $98 round trip - only $115.20 with tax!

I always start by checking Travelocity and putting in my airport codes then click the flexible dates option and put the month I'm travelling in to see what the lowest rates seem to be - then usually go to individual airline sites to search again, sometimes you can save a little bit more by booking through the airline's site.

You gotta check Airtran.com and Southwest.com everyday. The fares I gotwere only available for 1 day. Keep checking !!

You may also want to check www.sidestep.com which gives you a list of all the airline flights and prices in one convenient spot.

Then, when you see a fare that catches your fancy, check the individual airline's website to see if that fare is being offered.
