Hiya

following on from stitches greatest fans thread, I forgot to tell you I had my 20 week scan on Monday!

Everythings alright, though he was asleep, laying with his back towards my ribs, screwed up in a ball!! I just have to go back for a picture of his lips (as apparently they have to do one, and he wasnt playing.)

Good job I went for a private sexing scan as he had his legs firmly closed as well.

We are naming him Morgan William Smith (William after Chris's dad) he was going to be Morgan Christopher but Chris prefers us to go with his dads name.

I am spot on with dates, so due November 16th

Only problem in I have an anterior placenta which is in the middle at the front, so I cant feel him very well, and theyre going to monitor it to make sure it doesnt go any further down

So all in all a good scan

Roll on November

I also was confused so I asked the sonographer, she said there had been a few cases of people trying to sue the nhs for not being told their child had hare (sp) lips. Me personally wouldnt freak because of that as its easy fixed and not life threatening!!

Glad it wen well Anna, lovely Name:thumbsup2

Glad it all went well ;) , even if Morgan wasn't playing!, I love the name and whooo you get to go and have another scan and see him again :lovestruc

Also, if there was any sort of problem it gives both you and the hospital time to prepare for it. When I had my scan for my eldest DD it picked up that she had a problem that would need operating on within 24 hours of birth so all my antenatal care was transferred to the hospital where she would be born and where her operation would be done so I was able to meet the surgeons/staff in advance and it took a lot of the stress out of it for all of us.

Enjoy the chance of having another peek at the next scan!! :goodvibes
