Hello friends. I will be cruising with my husband, our 10 and 13yo daughters and both of our fathers, who are in their mid 70s. Both dads are in generally good health, but can't walk really long distances. We aren't really beach people plus we have a double dip on CC, so looking for something non‐beach focused to do in Nassau. The chocolate tour at Graycliff hotel looks promising but there is a note on the website about 30 stairs. Has anyone been there? What is situation with stairs? Are they steep? Other suggestions? Thanks!

We did Black beards revenge pirate ship in Nassau. Very fun! We had ages 12, 13, and adults. Adults loved the free rum punch! Gave us all the chance to use our pirate tshirts and headbands again. The pirates were very good with the kids. This wasn’t a long walk on the pier as the pirate boat parked in front of the Fantasy. Will do this again next time in Nassau.

Did the Ardastra Gardens/Zoo last time in Nassau. Not a significantly long amount of walking, and was enjoyed by my kids (who were 12 and 14 at the time).

We did the Graycliff tour several years ago. I do not remember perfectly, but it was not one long set of stairs. There are some stairs to enter the hotel and a few small sets of stairs as you moved from area to area. The tour goes from the chocolate shop through the factory and then to the room where you get to make your own. I did this with my mother before she had her knee replacement and she did not have any trouble.

I would definitely NOT recommend the Graycliff chocolate tour. We did it July 2019 with my elderly parents and 2 sons who were 7 and 8 at the time. My mother has Parkinsons and mobility issues and walks independently but more slowly. The 3rd party tour guide who met us charged ahead through the crowds at the port and our group and others at the back were separated from the tour and had difficulty finding our guide to load onto the mini bus to get to Graycliff. On the way back the mini bus could not get as close to the port area and we were dropped off with a significant walk back to the ship. At drop off the guide left us completely behind, never looked back or counted to check that she had everyone. We gave up on staying with the group and followed the crowds. My mother did not have any difficulty with the stairs once at the tour. I don't recall any long flights or that any were overly narrow or steep.
