Gratuity Question

Is gratuity automatically calculated and put on the bill for groups of 4? Do I have to put gratuity on my Key Card when using the DDP? Can I pay cash for gratuity instead?

Trying to figure out the best way to reduce incidental charges on my Key card. It scares me to think it's linked to my room/credit card. It would be best for us as a family to either pay cash for gratuity or use a separate credit card that we hold in our hands and is not linked to the room.

Yes you can leave a cash gratuity instead of using your room charge. We have done that.

Closing this as all gratuity discussion on the Restaurant Boards is limited to the Tipping Information sticky thread on the main board. That thread has an FAQ in the first post that may be able to answer basic questions.

Will note here that there is no automatically calculated and added gratuity for parties of less than six (except at dinner shows and CRT where the gratuity is included in the price).
