We are going on our first cruise in 15 days. We are a family of four on a 3 night cruise. What total should be the standard tipping for the entire cruise? Of course we will tip extra for those that we feel go above and beyond but want to make sure we at least tip the recommended amount.

That's what threw me off! I misread the cruise documents. They combined all 3 nights per person. I looked at it as per person per night in the cruise documents and was getting a way larger amount. I see it now! Thank you!

As noted, the gratuities (which will be added to your onboard account) are $12 per guest per day. That $12 breaks out to $4.00 per guest per day to your stateroom host; $4.00 per guest per day to your dining room server; $3.00 per guest per day to your assistant server; and $1.00 per guest per day to your head server.

Another note - any beverages ordered and paid for (from bars/lounges/servers) will have a 15% gratuity automatically added. Spa services/products have an 18% auto-gratuity.
