Grassy Knoll in Front if Casey’s

I heard it starts 3/13. It looks like it will be the whole grassy area in front of Casey’s, because they had fastpass scanners installed at the entrance.

The CL trial program that includes the purchased extra FPs and reserved nighttime viewing starts 3/13, so we’re not quite there yet.

Yes, the Plaza Garden West (the grassy area in front of Casey’s) is the designated spot for reserved HEA viewing for the trial program.

My personal opinion is that they won’t use the entire garden for this, rather, I suspect it will be a smaller roped off area within the garden that will flex depending on their expected attendance that day. But, obviously TBD on that comment.

No. Both Plaza Garden areas were once used for FP fireworks viewing, but that was short-lived and they stopped doing it awhile ago.

It's for club level resort guests that want to pay $50 per person/day during a minimum 3 day stay to get the 3 extra fast passes at 90 days

In addition, your $50/person/night (and Club-level premium) gets you reserved space (one per night) at special viewing areas at Happily Ever After, Rivers of Light, IllumiNations, and Fantasmic.

It's not really a FP viewing, but it is tied to the new club level extra 3 FPs that are a paid perk for them only. Along with the 3 FPs, they get a new, preferred viewing spot for nighttime shows in the park they chose for their extra FPs.

I hope you’re right. If not, I think it’s going to be a very large space for the amount of people. Maybe the back fence of that area will be a good place to be since people will be toward the front and if we’re right at the fence my kids might be able to see the projections.

The Plaza Garden areas are excellent spots to watch HEA, IMHO. The East Garden is reserved for the Plaza Garden Dessert Party, the West Garden in front of Casey’s has been a favorite for us as a lot of people think it’s reserved given the configuration of the garden, but it’s really not. Time will tell how much this new CL trial program impacts this being a good go-to spot.

Not great pics, but a couple of views from the West Garden on 1/1/18. Other areas of the Hub can also provide quality viewing as well, just be prepared to stake out a spot early.

I remembered this spot being available on our second day in MK last summer. The first day we watched from the hub, it was nearly unbearable. The Plaza Garden was wonderful the second night. I'm hoping that they don't use the whole area.

we were there last week and sat in the grassy area infront of Casey's and it was a great spot to view fireworks:

I had heard it was going to be changing at some point in March though.

Oh I hadn't noticed that when we were there. Bummer! It's a great spot for sure, someone on DIS told me about it and a little while ago and it worked out really well.
