Granulated Lime

Not a recipe, but a great recipe ingredient.

I LOVE this stuff! A friend brought it to work and wow, I knew I had to go get some. You shake it out like any other spice and it costs about $3.50. I found it at Fred Meyer's, which is one of the Kroger stores.

What do you put it on, Alice? Chicken? Vegetables? Sounds interesting and summery!

I'll look for it at Fred's -- although sometimes we say Fred Meyer -- one of everything except what you want.

I thought that you guys were sending some rain and snow our way but it is still dry here.

No snow here but lots of rain - it's been so grey the last few days!

I've been eating the granulated lime on chicken, fish, black beans and even in soup. It gives things a little zing and a fresh taste.
