Anyone had this done?

From what I understand this is a fraction of the cost of having new countertops installed and looks just as nice and comes with a lifetime warranty.

This is what Im looking at http://granitetransformations.com/

:)

Any opinions?

I had them (granitetransformations) come out to my house for an estimate. They were very nice and seem reputable. However, when I saw how it would look on my counter, I did not like it. The granite overlay is probably about 1/4 inch thick and it truly just covers the countertop. What you're left with is a kind of "bulky" look. You won't notice this on the top of the counter but you will notice it where it goes over the edges. It just looked "weird" to me and I ended up not caring for how it looks. It was also pretty pricey. It did not save me as much as I thought. All new Corian would have been the same price as the granite overlay.

Well, my other friend Robin ;) , has someone in her Bunko group who had it done and she said it looked just like regular granite countertops. She was really impressed and she had granite installed herself less than a year ago.
