I need some ideas! On our next visit to Disney, we are taking the Grandparents who have never been. I really want to make their first visit magical. We will be spending 6 days on site and I have booked a dining plan. Any suggestions for inside or outside the parks??

Remember that they will probably not be about thrill rides, but more about shows and atmosphere. Make sure you get in anything that would be of interest to them (maybe get them a book now and let them start looking at what they might like to see or do).

Turn the trip into one that focuses on them and what they like and it will be one that all enjoy.

If cost is not a big deal, I would recommend the pontoon boat cruise for Illuminations ($320 in 2008) for 10 people. We treated our family to that last year and my FIL loved it, everyone did but for me to have found something he was really impressed with was a bonus! The only downside with this is that there are only 3 boats and we had to book 90 days out and it was a race at 7am to get the reservation for the exact night we needed.

We ate at the Yachtsman Steakhouse (2 point TS credits) and went on the boat from the dock right there.

Good luck with your planning!
