My parents are going to join us for a couple of days in Orlando. They are 75 - fit and healthy but not the daring types - which park would be better UO or IOA. I wanted them to see grandson (four) at Dr. Seuss because he is SO excited about going there... but don't see a lot else there I think they might enjoy. Spiderman might be too jerky and the water rides too wet. Only maybe Poseidon and Simbad? So would UO be better. I don't see the point in getting a two park pass for them. Last year we went to MK and they enjoyed some roller coasters but mostly the carousel and rides like small world, pirates, also Mickey's Philarmagic.
Thanks for the advice! I thought they would join us for more days but they have very active social lives and can't miss a variety of commitments! so they are only going to be with us for about 2 1/2 days so we will have one "resort" day and one busy day.

They could do Cat in the Hat (ask the ride op for the car not to spin), Poseidan, Sinbad, Jurassic Park probably - you really don't get very wet, Spiderman really isn't jerky. At Universal they could do everything except Back to the Future.

My mother joined us at Universal last year (age 68). We liked IAO better for us and the kids, but she loved Universal Studios. She loved Mythos for lunch at IOA. We sprent one full day at each, then a half day hitting the highlights of both. We stayed at HRH.
