Thanks everyone for your advice and thoughts. We are wait listed for a GV at Jambo, but probably won't get it . However we have the GV at SSR so we are good either way.

We have stayed at two story OKW GV. It was large. Loved the big porch. Stayed at single floor BWV GV twice. Loved the Boardwalk balcony. Stayed at two story AKLK GV. It was lovely but I(now in a power chair) could only get to the second floor by taking the elevator up one floor and trekking down the hallway to the the entrance of the second floor. If I booked AKLK again I would see if there was a single floor available.

Jambo GV's are all single floor. Kidani all 2 floors.

I've stayed in both SSR and GF. Both beautiful. We stayed both times with many extended family members and actually really loved the GF. simply luxurious.

Honestly it was a top notch penthouse suite! truely one of the nicest rooms we've stayed in anywhere!

A minor note about GV's: some resorts gave them wood floors. In a 2-storey GV, children running or playing on the upper wood floor can make a bit of noise for anyone trying to rest below.
