is there anywhere I can look to find out the rates for cash in a grand villa. trying to work out if we should borrow for what we need or re look at 2 bedroom and a studio.

we have enough points for the 2 bedroom + the studio but it would mean our son and GF staying in the studio themselves which would mean we wouldn't be together as a family but on the other hand it might be good to have our own space. :confused3

also does anyone know if you can get fully accessable grand villas at SSR

You might want to ask on the disABILITES board about the accesability for SSR GVs. I don't tink any 2-story GV gives access to the 2nd floor, but I could be wrong. I know at OKW, the 2nd floor of the GV is not accessible by wheelchair, stairs only.

I'm thinking both you and your son may appreciate the privacy of having their own studio. Sometimes there is such a thing as "too much" family time, and it tends to show up on vacations. ;)

The SSR GV are accessible. The 2nd floor has a separate door that you can enter from the hallway (or can take the stairs of course), but I would just have the wheel chair guest stay on the first level in the Master bedroom so they will have access to the kitchen without leaving, going on the elevator, then going back into the 1st level. There is a 2nd full bath on the 1st floor that you can roll a wheelchair into the shower and it has a seat as well. I thought this was very nice that Disney has done this now and has included 4 bathrooms in GV at SSR and AKV. It is very spacious and I really think it is well done. It may be expensive, but it is worth it.

you are thinking what I am thinking;) . he has just came and said can we not just go for the 2 bedroom like we had this year but although there is more than enough beds its the configuration of the beds that I just can't juggle. DS has to go into the master because that is where the accessable shower is.

I thought the GV's at SSR only had the 3 bathrooms, 1 in the master and the other 2 in the 2 upstairs bedrooms.

See this chart for rack rate (add tax). If available, the member discount is 25%. A studio + 2 bedroom would be far cheaper plus more likely to be available.

you are right it is far cheaper for the studio + 2 bedroom
