We have never stayed in a Grand Villa before (always stay in 2 bedrooms). We might need the additional space of a GV next year. Are they all the same at the different DVC properties? We usually stay at OKW...how are the Grand Villas there? Thanks!

I am pretty sure that the OKW Grand Villas have the most sq. footage. The rooms are wonderful! All the other GV's that I have stayed in or visited, are wonderful too, but I really think that OKW has the largest rooms. There are 27 of them, I think. Do you own points there? Be sure to use the 11 month window if you want to book one of them.
The OKW GVs are not as grand decor as the other DVC properties, but they are MORE Grand when it comes to space and convenience! We just stayed in one again about a month ago, and they are still marvelous.

Agree. All of my DVC experiences have been in a GV (as we usually go with my whole family). OKW is definately the most relaxing to spread out in because of the size. It really does feel like home - particularly for DH & I as we live in a condo.
We've stayed in the OKW's GVs many time. Always loved it.
One year we stayed in a 2 story GV at BWV. Loved the BoardWalk View but not so crazy about the villa. My main problems were the stacked washer/dryer (I'm spoiled by the ones at OKW) and the layout for the master bedroom. It's on the first floor and there is no private entrance for the bathroom. You have to walk out of the room to get to the bathroom and the kitchen/dining room/living area are right there so if anyone is up late and in that area there's no way to avoid them.
I've heard that the one floor GV's are very nice, but I have no experience with them.
